Charles Donald Carr

Able Seaman

I am currently researching the history of my uncle Donald Carr, (he was known as Donald in the family and Charles in the Navy), and have some information you may wish to add to your records.

He was an Ordinary Seaman and his service number was SX24465. He survived the sinking of HMS Exeter but died in Macassar camp on the 6th April, 1945. I understand that his body was later moved to another cemetery at Ambon.
