William Thomas Phillips

Yeoman of the Signals

William Thomas Phillips is believed to have died as a Prisoner of the Japanese in March 1943, in Nagasaki

William Phillips who is my great uncle. He was a prisoner at Fukwoka number 2 and he worked at the Kawanami docks. I have all the original red cross letters sent to his mother informing her that he was safe as a pow. He died of a fractured scull, how that happened we can only guess.
