My Grandfather, Victor George Williams served on HMS Exeter (service # P/JX23635). 

According to my father's birth certificate, Victor George Williams was an Asdic technician on board the HMS Exeter. 
I have not been able to get his service records yet, but will get them in the short future hopefully. Vic passed away at the hands of the Japanese on 30/06/1943.
